From 2015 to 2019, more than 20,000 refugees drowned while attempting to flee across the Mediterranean Sea. Every day, volunteers on rescue vessels have saved thousands of lives by taking action. To highlight their efforts, a calendar shaped like the Mediterranean Sea was designed to display daily rescue numbers, underscoring the significance of these missions.
